Question:
Is it necessary to take an English Language Test for entry to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses overseas?
Answer:
Yes, if the degree you wish to take is taught in English you have to take an English test. There may be some exceptions for students who have been taught in English throughout their education, but in most cases it is necessary.
It is also a prerequisite for applying for a student visa for most destinations.
There are two popular English testing systems TOEFL and IELTS (Academic Modules).
Find out more about them here: www.IELTS.org or www.TOEFL.org
